Webasto using 3rd button help required
Just got a FBH timmer with a remote and was looking to use the 3rd button instead. Had a search but can't find what I need to do or even if I can. The timmer has the 4 pin plug fitted (red, blue, back, orange) and the 2 wire mod for the remote. The blue on the 4 pin plug is not connected to anything if that makes any difference.
Any help with pictures would be very much appreciated
3rd button are generally designed controllers, the BAS FBHIC for example, it utilises a flash of the headlamps for 5-10 seconds to activate the controller.
So I guess you're after a voltage sensing relay to switch the timer on, one that has a delay before it switches, thus is then the input to the flame button Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Andy, if you're using the Webasto oval timer, the fourth wire ( blue ) can be attached to an LED to indicate when your timer is running.
It's better than standing out in the cold waiting to hear the FBH fire up. Mods:

Nice one Narpy
Was going to experiment and see if I was getting a voltage off the blue wire but no need now
Just got an adaptable box to house everything in. Will sort the wiring and LED mod, also ordered the red wire for pin two from the shop. Will get it fitted when that turns up
