Roger Waters anyone ?

(ex of Pink Floyd for those not in the know)

Just bought his latest CD via Amazon with a free MP3 download - "Is this the life we really want"
Now just starting to listen to it, but so far I think it may need a few listenings.

Anyone got/heard it, if so, what's the view?

1st listen - not overly impressed to be honest, he doesn't seem to have moved forward with writing at all.

Best left in the 70s / 80s when they produced some fabulous music, inventive and progressive.
The Final Cut is still one my favourite albums for a lone listen.

Gilmour's solo stuff is pretty pants too. Shame, but I won't be investing Sad

New CD is actually not that bad.

Been playing it in the background (on 'repeat') through the days and now quite liking it.
And here was me thinking I'd totally wasted a whole £12 of my money!!!

Confused

we're going to have to disagree on that my friend.

Ok, who was I to question such an artist ?

A good few months down the line and I'm absolutely loving that cd.
It's now my 'go to' music selection when sitting at night sipping a malt, red wine or black coffee.
Wonderful stuff (and sorry for doubting it) Bow down

Thumbs Up
