Strange Beasts.
You raise an interesting point. You find us strange beasts because you've never tried to understand the views of others. You'd rather dismiss them as bigoted.
I recall pre referendum a news report that Labour MPs were returning to Westminster 'shocked' at the voting intentions of many of their constituencies. Constituents they represented who were, to them, strange beasts. They'd taken their votes without ever really listening to them, without ever trying to understand their concerns, their lives. Brown vs. Duffy.
If liberal Remainers ever want an answer to how did Brexit come about?, (elsewhere, how was Trump voted in?) look in the mirror.

Look again at the Daily Mail thread to see those who couldn't wait to tell us all what an odious rag they thought it was. each expressing their distaste in ever stronger terms. Fighting to be the Most Virtuous.

There's NOTHING wrong with it, it is you looking to be outraged and letting us know what a caring liberal you are.

I don't have a reflection
Being a centrist ...I appreciate that there are views that I agree or disagree with on either side ...usually disagreeing the most the further the pendulum swings each way.
People...like newspapers...can display a view further to the right or left ...no one is breaking the law ...you have a right to defend your view ...but equally others have a right to comment in the other direction.
Now stop worrying your pretty little heads about it

This thread is a modern version of the ducking stool. If you float you're a witch, if you sink you aren't. Damned if you do, drown if you don't.
Political Correctness is not the same as treating people fairly. I agree that PC became a cause unto itself. But PC has largely passed. There are still some "professionally shocked" people about but they are a dying breed.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
