| New wheels (L405) - TPMS error |

I've just fitted some new wheels, they're off a L405 Range Rover and came with tyres so i'm not 100% sure if they have TPMS valves fitted.
From a quick IID scan i'm getting the following:
BCM-Body Control
C1D21-05 (2F) Wheel module - General failure information - system programming failure
( on 02-06-2017 16:29:01 at 38987 mi )
Does anyone know if the L405 uses a different TPMS system to the Disco 4 (2014)?, I see in IID there are 2 types TPMS and TDFS?
I could just set it to not installed I presume and the error will go away until I can get the correct sensors?
Has anyone else fitted L405 wheels and had the same problem?

If they have silver coloured metal valves and dust caps then chances are they have TPMS.
LR changed to type of TPMS fitted to D4 in 2014 and it may be yours is set for the newer type and the 405 wheels are the older type or the other way around.

Thanks, looking at the wheels they have black rubber valves in so I assume no TPMS.
I'll disable via IID until I can get around to swapping the valves over from the old wheels.

If they are rubber valves then no TPMS valves are fitted.

I have rangerover SVR alloys on my Disco4 and they came with TP sensors fitted when I bought them. When I fitted the wheels I didn't get any dash lights so presume that both rangerover and discovery sensors are the same
