discovery 3 immobiliser

Hello
Can any one help me with my disc 3 2007hse
Put the key in the ignition comes on but will not turn over at all
I only had one set of keys
I took the key to auto locksmith and they said that the transponder was working but the red light on the panel stays on
Has any one came across this before
