I suspect it could be either the leak off pipe or an injector.
I had a similar problem recently and was assisted by the helpful advice on the site.

I replaced the leak off pipe only to find it was the large nut on the injector leaking. I think with a little more diligence I could have diagnosed this earlier and saved myself £120+ on the pipe.

Seeking a replacement injector on here, Woody32 sent me two good ones in the post - and wouldn't even accept the cost of the postage - what a gent !

I bought a large pair of bent nosed pliers to assist with the leak off clips that were a massive help and stuffed cloths around the injectors incase I dropped one.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks all, thankfully its not coming from the rear of the engine. its coming from the bottom of the filter in between the dish and the little black nozzle type thing. the slightest bit of pressure on that black thing and it just gushes out

The black round knob on the bottom of filters is to drain water out.

It may need hand tightening or the seal may need replacement.

Order a new filter. Change filter if it's not been changed in the last 2 years or nick the seal off it if you aren't confident in changing it
