D3 Brake Sistem Upgrade
Hi everyone...
I have a Disco 3 TDV6, 2006.
Somebody knows if is it possible to change the calipers and disc and fit from D4 or RRS , i mean to install bigger brakes sistem ?
My wheels are 18 " + wheelspacers BRAID, 3 cm
Will fit without changing knukcle or big modifications ?
Thanks

You will need the larger V8 discs and the V8 caliper carriers, pads and calipers are the same.
& well worth doing.
Much sharper & progressive brakes...
Look to last longer pad & disc wise too.BREXIT - done properly.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Pad wear can be quite impressive with the v8 set up 14k and pads nearly worn out
To be fair that most likely my driving as the stopping power is pretty impressive.
Hi off-roadrunner,
Good You gyus there are having a green-zone-time there!
I have say, I wasn't imformed as I may be now, after collecting some impressions and text about city and kurdish region.
From european sofas it's easy to get everything in the near-east-belt as chaos area...
So,
Green zone
Green stuff
V8 Brake disks
Seems like good Project for fun and safety TDV6MY07-automatic-LHD-noDPF-iidbt-ffrrMod

The most appropriate pads then!
Thats what Im running and I really like them as excellent pedal feel, stopping power is awesome and they make little to no brake dust, cheapest place is island 4x4 at approx 60 quid for fronts, everywhere else wants 85gbp for the exact same product!

Sure...safety first...specially if your right boot is very heavy...on gas pedal....
This is a total chaos, there is no traffic rules...all different.... i don´t know...
Many years ago visiting Morocco, i was suprised about the Moroccan Drivers and their style, but this is WORSE.....
One question : i´ve checked that page from advanced factors, but i think they don´t supply the new calipers, will fit the old one ?
Also they don´t have grooved discs, which i think is very good choice, specially driving ( Rally Style ) under almost 60 * C in summer ...yeah..i know ..it´s crazy. The traffic lights here are like the Pit Lane....
The Calipers are the same on the v8 as the tdv6Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car
