Simplest device is a crook lock they fit on the steering wheel and stop being turned.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
pedal locks are good too ... but ultimately these are delaying tactics.
that said ... the scrotes don't want to hang about, so if they see something like that they may well move on and ruin someone else's day/night.
I've got custom metalware protecting OBD port but think I need to get a luminous sticker to proclaim that, otherwise the scrotes have smashed a window before they find out.
I'm also considering modifications to the circuit that allows gear lever to be moved from "park" ... anyone else tried that ? want to swap notes ??.

Medium size - you can buy from the manufacturer. Recommend you get the fabric wheel protector so it won't mark the leather

Thanks for all the positive surporting responses on this guys...
To give you all an update - I've got the first settlement offer from the insurers - needless to say it's a little way off what a 'like-for-like' replacement would cost me so I'm writng back to them.
FYI - I've heard of at least 4 other Disco's going missing during the last 4 weeks, all taken in the same manner.
Friends buying new MB GLEs are getting dealerships to remove the keyless go button and replace it with a key housing. MB is doing this on new vehicles, upon request, FOC.
When I had to "discuss" a poor offer from an insurer, I found several similar cars on Autotrader and sent them the details (and kept paper copies too just in case they sold! - but it was a good few years ago).
after a few days they rang up and offered the average price of what I'd sent.
at least it's not taken nearly 5 months to get an offer as in my D4 theft !.

Did you send in private or trade offerings??
Can I refer exclusively to the LR Approved Used vehicles as mine still had Approved Used warranty which can only be got from their sales (simplest way).
