D4 Landmark ... tow bar and electrics question.

Afternoon all

I have a 16 plate Landmark and not sure what l need to do to get a tow bar or what extras I need to sort out to get one.

Was at Halfords sorting out bike things (we also need a bike rack but that is on another forum) when the very friendly assistant looked at the back end of the car and said we only had half of the kit and would need some extra electric thingie (wasn't clear) so that we could get a tow bar with the electrics.

Do I need to take the car to a dealership to get a tow bar sorted and does anyone know what this guy was talking about ? Could I order the tow bar and get it fitted by a local mechanic? I'm really confused !

Hi, you'll need the electrics kit. You can fit it yourself, the kit is about £130 but still needs enabling in the CCF.
A dealer will fit for you-

I got mine dealer fitted then bought a second hand removable tow bar from eBay for about £130.
