Engine System Fault
Hi - great site. thanks
I have owned a disco 3 for over 9 years. It has been a long way! 220,000 miles.
Recently it has started to complain.
It had an engine rebuild by LR at 150,000 miles - something horrible happened.
In the last 3 months it has had 2 new EGR valves and a new (reconditioned) turbo. Expensive!
Sadly sometimes it still gives an engine system fault. Typically when it is under maximum stress, either accelerating up a hill or doing 80mph on a long motoway incline. Turn off and on again it resets.
My garage (not a LR dealer) does not know what it is. The fault points to the turbo but that has been removed (again) stripped down and rebuilt (again) and it passed all its tests. The turbo guys said that it was dirty inside after only a few weeks.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know the fault codes. I'll ask the garage and get back to you.
Thanks

I would tap up Geoff as he's near you and could come out and do fault codes for you, he's on the forums.

OK managed to track down Geoff on forum and I see he is based about 5 minutes from my office. unfortunately forum will not allow me to send a message! i'm too new it appears to send a pm.
Is there any other magic way to find out how to get in touch with him? No addresses or anything on profile.
