What good uses have you put this space to?

It looks like it is designed to take a small battery? D3 2004 HSE
D2 1999 TD5 Auto GS - Sold
D2 2000 TD5 Auto ES - Sold
D1 1993 200TDI - Most off road fun- scrapped
RR LSE Brooklands 1994 - sold

Couldnt I just put a battery in there and hook it up negative to negative and pos to pos? D3 2004 HSE

No. You would need a relay / solenoid to keep them disconnected when the engine was off

I also have a 'T Max' system in my Disco (Purchased off eBay) - my cable runs down drivers side (offside) and I have an original cubby cover for power (I sell them also Whistle )
