Well my D4 toes like a dream but will be off to Italy again soon was wondering if it's worth getting a remap or not if it would improve the mpg ?

hmmm ... standard D4, Southern Italy and back. No idea how I've no fines. The cost of the remap could go towards fuel costs 
ps ... was toes meant to be TOWS or GOES ?  .

Warranty company is very very unlikely to find out.
Ecu needs to be unlocked as part of the process. I can do that and the remap for you next Wednesday afternoon if that helps? Bodsys Brake Bible
