Failed mot

My car has failed mot today on offside rear upper suspension arm, It failed on other side last year. It has also been advised on steering rack inner joints (both sides) which i don't think is a big job ? It is booked in on Monday for rear arm as its too big a job for me to tackle. He also noticed transmission fluid coming from the sump seal where it is connected to gearbox, not a lot but enough to worry me, is that a big job ?
All in all not too upset as I half expected rear arm but a bit worried about trans fluid leak.

Mark, inner steering arms are simple enough, sump is a bit of a faf TBH Unless you plan to fit the metal sump you need to remove the chassis crossmember I think, plus it's an oil change , is it that bad, perhaps just a 1/4 turn on each bolt and see if it stops Confused

I would clean up the sump and see how much is actually coming out.
I changed the fluid on mine a few years back and thought I'd change the sump as there was a bit of fluid being lost.
Checked it at the beginning of this week and although it'd probably be mentioned by a garage, the actual amount of fluid lost is very, very small.

Thanks chaps. Got to admit it's not loads. Will check when rear arm gets done on Monday.
