Is there any visual indication when the DPF is going through its regeneration cycle ? and also is there anyway to make the car use the horn instead of the sounder for the 'panic alarm' function on the keyfob ?

The only indication of the DPF regeneration is a throaty exhaust sound and sometimes a smell if you stop.
With regard to the horn I have enabled it via my IID tool but it doesn't work, it still uses the internal sounder. It works on earlier models apparently When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.
