Is EPB Clean and Adjust covered under warranty? |
|
My D4 is due it's 2nd service in June (2 years old 14k on the clock) and experience tells me the EPB could do with a minor adjustment and a clean. Is that something LR do under warranty whilst being serviced or is that an extra?
No major screehing or anything, just a faint noise when releasing. Cheers Discovery 4 HSE

Clean and set is part of the service schedule so "should" be included, Whether its done or not is another thing!

Thanks for that, they charge enough for the service so should spend some time doing it. I'll be able to tell if they have or not Discovery 4 HSE

It has always been possible to hear my park brake operate if you listen for it, but I have never had a problem with it, must add it is serviced regularly thanks to Bodsys brake bible.
It is included in the service, just remind them that it's noisy, they won't have an excuse then for not doing it. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Unlikely to be covered under warranty, although should be covered under service maintenance if you have that 5 year service they were offering. Bodsys Brake Bible

Its part of every service but ask them to do it. I requested they whip off the disc and inspect last time which they did and showed me as I was waiting. Ask nicely and you shall receive Visitor from fullfatrr.com
