Hi there,
I wonder if it is possible to use a splitter for the GPS antenna of the satnav in my '08 D3 HSE for feeding into my Garmin GPS 60.
The idea is, that if it is possible to split the antenna cable, this would mean that I could use the already present antenna for two devices and not need to install a second external antenna for better GPS reception on the Garmin.
The NMEA stream from the Garmin does also feed my APRS installation, so an external antenna would slightly improve the TTF on initial start and would bear some advantages with limited skyview in comparison to the Garmin's antenna behind the heated front screen.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Cheers,
