Wing mirror glass keeps dropping out

Driving through Mayfair today, hit a pot hole and my passenger wing mirror glass fell out Shocked It was left dangling by the wires.

I clipped it back in and it did it again 2 mins later, its done it 3 times now no matter how hard i push it back. Anyone know of a 'knack" to this I'm pushing it as hard as I dare.

thanks

do any of the clips look broken?

could always pop the mirror housing cap off to look behind to see if your pushing it home enough?

You have to hold the mirror at a slight angle when pushing to click it home. Nearside down slightly I think.

Mine came off a while back and I put it on a few times and it kept falling off again. In the end I had to apply far more force than I thought the mirror would withstand to click it back into position. I put on leather gloves as I was sure the mirror would shatter
