Fuel rail pressure sensor can it be changed on its own

Getting this fault code come up. It only happens intermittently and only when I switch the ignition on. I looked at the Haynes manual anf it says it can't be repaired in its own. Any ideas?

P0191-24 (2C) Fuel rail pressure sensor range/performance - General signal failure - signal stays high

So can I change it on its own?

Managed to clear the fuel sensor fault but every time I clear the code below it just comes back on when I pull out the iid. Car now in limp mode and I need it for tomorrow. Big Cry

Managed to now clear this fault but still suspect the fuel rail sensor is playing up. Has anybody managed to change one of these? I have seen them for sale so hoping it's possible.
