Dashcam wiring.

Please can someone post a picture of where they've wired the ground connection of their dashcam.
I can't see anywhere obvious in the fuse compartment behind the lower glove box.

Thanks
Philip

Nice bolt on the frame, on the left when you are looking at the fuse board.

Do you mean the one holding the hinge of the glove box to the frame? I don't see anything else.

Maybe I'll just drill a small hole in the side below the wiring harness.

Use the one on the hinge to the left, it screws into the body for a good earth.

I believe people run the wire down the "A" pillar, to the fuse box. My "A" pillar is marked "Airbag", so how do I remove the "A" pillar cover safely? I'm nervous about triggering an Airbag!

The plastic cover marked Airbag, is just a cover nothing more, pop,it off with a small flat blade screwdriver, underneath you will find a Torx screw, remove the screw the A Pillar cover will come off.

Route the cable behind the Airbag or down the side of, with the other wires, not over the Airbag.

Its easy to avoid the airbag, there are some loops holding other cables out of the way, tuck your cables into them Thumbs Up

Some so called 'professional" managed to wrap a cable around one of my curtain airbags.

Rather than start a new thread , can anyone take a picture to show where they have their dashcam mounted on their Disco 4 ? I have a thinkware F770 and was going to put it just under the mirror, but that would block the auto-highbeam sensor.
