| Not getting aftermarket audio unit to work (no sound) |

Hi.
I have a Disco 3 (2006)
Bought a kit of Ebay:

But there was not a sound as there seem to be missing a connector for speakers?
Another friend said that this unit would not work because it needed optical connection??
Anyone who can give me a reason,OR a link/recommandation for a UNIT that WILL fit and with all cables??

if it is a se or hse spec it will not work as they have an amp under driver seat to drive the sound through the most circuit so you would need to take speaker wires from the head unit to the amp or replace the head unit with a genuine land rover unit why were you changing it?  Discovery 3 se gone
