ROCK SLIDERS/SIDE STEPS
Guys I currently have the OEM side steps on my wagon and after seeing Andy Fosters in the flesh I wondered where I could get a decent set without costing an arm and a leg
PROSPEED although I have no doubt are well made are a bit too expensive for my stomach but have seen a few others including BRITPART ones that look ok too so I guess the question is "WHICH ONES"?
Thanks Kenny"Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!

I've got the Britpart ones, had them on the car for nearly 5 years now. And apart from getting them re powder coated ( and the first set was wrong shape ) they've done me proud.
When I had a blowout deep in mud in the Yorkshire Dales we managed to lift the whole side of the car on the sliders with a hi lift with no problems.

Hello,
I have also fitted the Britparts sliders - pretty good used since 3 years on trips in Romania and Poland, also used for lifting.
You have to fix the front plastic cover with a little screw (see whole on second photo):

Mine from Britpart were severely rusted after 2,5 years - I just had them redone with truck bedliner, looks the part and should be more durable.
I cleaned and then sprayed the part of the disco where they are mounted with some anti corrosion spray, I think that is a good idea.
The sliders look really good with the truck bedliner on.
I will post pictures tomorrow.2007 D3 2.7 SE Automatic

Looks good and tough. I'm planning to get rock sliders with nerf bars /steps also. I'm leaning towards the ProSpeed sliders because they are coated with Raptor liner.
