| LOSS OF POWER THEN LOSTS OF SMOKE FROM EXHAUST. |

hello everybody.on Friday on my way to Northumberland d3 going like a train.then the dreded ping.loss of power and lots of smoke from exhaust.turn off engine and re start and away like a train again,i have just read fault code with my iidtool Bluetooth.came up with this.
p140a-00 2d.exhaust gas recirculation sensor circuit low.
p0405-00 2d egr sensor a circuit low,
p1335-00 2c egr.position sensor minimum stop performance.
p132b-00 68 unknown.
its been re maped by pete bell.4 years ago and egr valves been blanked for 9 years now.
any suddestions please.thanks pug pug.

Turbo hose split check the large hose or intercooler split. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Would a split turbo hose be ok after a restart.??

No, once it's split its split forever until fixed, but it may only blow when under max acceleration over 2500 rpm.
Having the EGRs blanked may always throw fault codes, they can be ignored. Have you still got the problem or was it just a one off? It can when others can't,

it will only do it when its in race mode.foot to the floor.i allway thought excessive smoke was unburt fuel.when I get the dredded ping I get a little !> comes up.am just thinking to myself I wonder if the engine is getting to much fuel and cant burn it quick enough. apart from this she hasent missed a beat for 3 years now.am not bothered with this little miss-app as I sald only dose it when she is getting pushed to the max. thanks guys.
