I fairly sure it doesn't fit a D3. I believe D3 mounts a different model.
What mods to the bumper have to be made to fit this?

Found it on Topix. 4 x 8mm holes drilled into the bumper.

That was my thinking. Do I really want to drill holes in my new D4 front end conversion. I'm going a at at the weekend so if it's still available when I get back I could well be interested D4 MY15 SE TECH

True, however the holes are quite small and easily reparable. I have done with mine.
