Rear heated seats in a 2010 GS

Hi all
Any help or advise would be appreciated...
I'm in the process of fitting some new interior in my D4 2010 GS, I've picked up a set of seats that
are heated front and rear,
Has anyone successfully wired in the rear seat heating in a GS?
At present, I've got the seats and carpets out and I can't find or see any connections or
multiplugs in the loom that might do it, nothing spare in the area.
Also there doesn't seem to be any connection plugs for the switches in the rear of the centre
console...
I guess it would be nice to know before I bolt it all back together.

Thanks for any info

Cheers Phil

If they're there the loom connections are in the side rear arches, behind the plastic trim, I want to add some to my 2013, I don't think anything will be in the centre consul and you'll need to add a loom to there, fronts I've already done Thumbs Up

If you find them take pics please Thumbs Up

Ok.. thanks for that, Thumbs Up
I'll take a look there,
I assumed they would be in the floor/ rear of console area.

As beanie says, main connectors should be under the carpet by the rear wheel arches. Some photos here: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic137951.html

You'll need to add the additional loom and switches in the rear of the centre console as well.

I also had to make up an adapter loom as not all of the sockets and plugs were quite as expected.

Thanks for your help guys, but nothing to be found behind the trims or the carpets covering the rear arches Sad , I'm guessing being as it's a poverty spec GS, if rear heated seats weren't available as option from new (not sure), the wiring prob isn't there, similar to no wiring for the drivers seat memory option, so I've now got the drivers seat moving in small steps... Laughing

It would be nice to get the front seat heating working though,
I'm fairly sure after looking at the vehicle loom connector block, there is two fairly heavy gauge wires, they could be for the seat heating, hopefully I'll be getting the heater control panel with switches... Are the connectors for fronts in the dash behind the control panel?
Thanks again for any info

Phil.

Fronts is fit, plug in and enable , fairly simple Phil Thumbs Up

You need as you say the HVAC panel with seat heating switches , replace the standard panel, plug in the seats, same multiplug as the wiring is in there and enable in the ccf Mr. Green

Thanks Beanie.... That's the one Thumbs Up ,
I've got one on it's way, was yours a retro fit? Is it always a ccf job? as I only have Snap On
diagnostics and I'm fairly sure that won't do it.
I thought I read a post somewhere that a small loom extension to the front footwell was needed? or am I mixing up my research with the D3 site?
Shame about no wires for the rears, I've seen some pics of guys changing to HSE looms to get all options working....I don't fancy that one on a Sunday afternoon.
I got them all in yesterday, the drivers seat even has a bolster adjustment as well as lumbar 8)

cheers Phil

Yes retro fitted, added the HVAC panel, swapped the seats and plugged them in, the big black multi plug , no loom additions, but they will need enabling in the CCF , I'm in st Neots next Tuesday if that's any use to you , could put my IID pro in Thumbs Up

Thanks for the offer, but I'm flat out at work for next few weeks, I do travel around the country several times during the summer months, so maybe sort something out if it ties up...
I'll prob have a few more adaptions to configure shortly, and I guess it would make sense to have them all configured in one visit.

I've got a paddle shift steering wheel on its way, with that there will be cruise... sensor dimming interior mirror, and that will lead to auto lights and wipers I guess, I've got a facelift column switch and a main lights switch, I'm not sure if there's much else... maybe the pointless fogs.

From the pics, is yours is a 2012 on? rotary gear selector and paddles? I thought they had improved the spec by then? hadn't L.R. binned the GS by then? apart from the heated leather, what else have you added?

Yes it's a 2013, the 8sp had flappy paddles already so I added a heated wheel pack, added full xenons, replaced light master switch with auto and front fog version, looking for auto mirror with auto wiper sensor, that'll probably mean a new screen though, Phillips led fogs ready to add and headlamp washers, already added TPMS and cruise

Split charge , a Yellowtop in the second box having relocated all the gubbins in there

Externally it has a Prospeed rack, ladder & sliders, 30mm spacers, Ray's sump guard and wheel protector and light guards Thumbs Up
