Lost nipple - D4 Rear Light Assembly |
|
Whilst replacing a bulb I noticed that the nipple on the end of one of the two locator pegs on my rear light assembly was missing – presumably snapped off at some stage. The rest of the peg is intact.
The fitting is still held in place by the two screws and the other complete locator peg but I wondered if anyone had any ideas for a repair to the broken peg.

Im in the same boat with no nipples at all but seriously I removed my lights last week and both snapped off.I have used some glue to re-attach the nips which is holding until I need to change a bulb.
Im not sure if an engineering company could copy said nipples so you could tap a 5 or 6mm thread into it,
just an

I can't imagine that any such spare part is available. On the plus side, availability of used, or sourced from Veleo, tail lamps on eBay and Amazon is excellent and if it's the original D3 lamps that you need, there are used ones aplenty
