Best place to meet and swap trailer off the M6/M5?

Planning on meeting a fellow member on Sunday to hand over the trailer and swap over the tow hitch - ideally would like a services that can be accessed from both sides as he's heading down from the far North and I'm coming up from the South - or at least one close to a junction so I can pass it, then come and meet him at the Southbound services, before he heads South and turns back-up North Thumbs Up

Doesn't have to be services, something suitable off a junction would be good - lower end of M6 if possible Thumbs Up

Will take about 40 mins to remove and swap over hitch, so needs to be away from a main road and something easy for both of us to find.

large Lay-by off a Junction would also work Thumbs Up

Cheers Thumbs Up

Ah wait, Hilton park Services seems like you can cross over from North to South using the back roads - can anybody confirm this please?

Cheers

Yes, you can swap sides at Hilton Park Iggy.

There is a Travelodge/Premier Inn thingy on the southbound which serves both directions.

Looks a simple route but both the minor roads out of the services have no entry signs on then according to streetview.

Unless you are going to the hotel. Confused
