Door not locking/ unlocking

Help please my 2008 disco 3 rear off side door not locking/unlocking using remote. It only unlocks/locks manualy from the inside. All other doors & tail gate operating normally from remote. Thanks all John

With me started with driverdoor [LH] ; couldn't open it with handle. Had to unlock with central switch.
Some months later : other front door [RH].. Extended to RH-rear...

I now only 'single click' to unlock and check all doors before walking off.. ..replacement locks are a bit to steep for my budget.. Mr. Green

I lock them, then slam the door.. lock with remote. Then check the handle. Mostly they are locked..

My o/s/r door unlocks no probs with remote but won't lock, I can hear a noise / click in the door so something is trying to happen , I just lock it from inside too then single click remote 2006 D3 2.7tdv6 SE Zermatt (6A)

its normally only the little motor in the latch that fails these can be got for a couple of quid on ebay

Thanks all latch now repaired through "an inspection hatch" cut carefully in door. Latch operating lug had become bent out of location just above the operating cable. Bent back into position then "Inspection hatch" sealed with a piece of plastic & some gaffe tape . all now working OK.
