I'm thinking D3 Mike - but £60k motor has servicing costs to go with it. One thing I don't want to skimp on is brakes. Though that is not to say other makes are not as good, I'm sure they are as the LR badge does add several ££ without any real benefit.
D3 pads are £60. Not quite so bad, but then I expect they will have dropped the price substantially, as the dealers do not see many D3's through the doors any moreMy D3 Build Thread

Help a brother out here , too many derivatives on pads for my liking! Anyone link to these somewhere ? Dingbro seems to be the nearest dealer but trade only ! In order of rear and front , btw they have LR stamped on them so I assume genuine fit ? Think they are also original pads ?
That thread actually highlights the pad numbers I have but only with reference to the rear ?

Just while we are on the same subject , just measured my front discs and by my calculation as I was using vernier and a couple of magnets I have still got 1.5mm of wear left before the min as stamped on the Brembo discs? Worth changing or not ? My last car I only changed the discs twice in its 120k life time and that was only front rears were just the once. So assuming 1.5mm of wear in 5 yrs that's not bad !?
