Diagnostic port fuse?
Have been at the electrical towing sockets 12s and 12n at rear. Used pair test plugs which showed black plug ok, but white socket not. After using test plugs noticed reversing light on dash off when selecting reverse (sensors are intermittent anyway) used Nanocom evolution today and it can't communicate with car. It powers on lights up etc but takes long time finally saying can't get information. Is there a fuse to protect diagnostic port? I've checked pins on port etc and powered it after ce- tec was on for 12 hours. Or maybe the Nanocom needs update? Any ideas please?

What we used to get a lot at work on the trucks was one of the pins had been pushed out the back of the plug, normally red and this stopped the laptop connecting.

Ok thanks information. Checked fuse 63 and ok. I remembered I have another reader a gen dan thingy! Plugged it in and it powered up and gave some info (engine off) must be the Nanocom needing update. Have been on there web site (black box solutions) but the instructional video starts of by showing PC screen with the yellow folders displayed and says unzip it? I think I've saved the firmware update but other than that I'm stuck! How do I retrieve it or get to it on PC? Again any help please .
