Fitting Adaptive Xenon Headlights

I already have non adaptive xenons fitted.

If I buy a set of adaptive ones will they work without a update to the ECU?

You would need the AFS ecu first.

You can enable the corner lights without the ECU Thumbs Up

As Mark says above you can enable and get the corner lights to work, but adding the adaptive cornering (static bending) function needs ecu and wiring, not a simple job Thumbs Up

As Greg says it's not straight forward. I thought about it but changed my mind as I did not have the wiring fitted.

As yours is a HSE you might have the wiring already. That would make it a bit easier to fit. Check The plugs that go into the back of your current lights. Have you a wire for every pin in the plug.

Or you can just fit bulb holders to your none adaptives for cornering lights, all the wiring is there, they come on with the indicators at less than 20mph and get some cash back for your expensive adaptives Thumbs Up

Do you need to enable them via iid tool? I take it you just stick a h8 in the spare slot above the sidelight?
