On my spare set of 19" alloys, normally set aside for winter use, two of the fours AT2s (the fronts) are now warn on the outer edges beyond use so I'm looking to replace all four and perhaps sell on the two rears that are in good/reasonable shape.
There's a lot of positive talk on here about the AT3s and I've read reviews about them being great in wet/dry conditions, low noise, etc., etc. But I wanted to ask if anyone has them fitted and uses or has used them in earnest for off-roading?
I'm off to the Pyrenees in May/June, trekking from the Med coast to the Atlantic coast and am looking for a set for this trip. Once back, they'll be removed and stored until the winter months or another off-roading event/experience.
Are AT3s what I'm looking for? Should I be considering something else? Any tips/advice?

There are a couple of threads in this section about GG AT3, worth a read. I had some fitted a few weeks ago, but they haven't seen any mud yet.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

I had the GG AT3'S fitted about 3 months ago, previously the truck was sat on Pirelli scorpions and
I thought they were a good tyre. The GG's are far superior in every way and feel far more stable
when loaded up with the Ifor behind. Highly recommend them 8)

Haven't read/found much yet on off-road performance.
