Who's getting a Disco 5?
So it's out, I've seen some on the streets and at Eastnor recently they were using them for off roading. So it's time for change and I'm curious to see how many people have done the deed and ordered one?

Not ordered one, yet. I can't see where else to go from the D4. Personally I'm waiting for next generation engines.

Great stuff the lux is a great option. If you don't mind me asking , did you get a good price on your disco 4? And I don't suppose you got any discounts on the new one?

No way! I only have 5 buddies who own D'4s...and they will not be buying it either. The disappointment is so great that they're looking at makes that were not even considered before such as Skoda (Kodiaq).
Not me. I'll be keeping mine.
My advice would be: do you want one? Wait a few months....there will be bucket loads of unsold D5's. Huge discount prices are to be expected. At least here in France.

Me
An SE TD6, so far can't fault it really, it's dose everything my D4 done.
Very much doubt there will be bucket loads of unsold D5s, especially in the UK.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Not me. I shall hang on to this D4 (and maybe another low mileage, used one) for as long as possible and then move on to something else.

One question J77, out of curiosity; do you have a big stock of unsold DS's in the UK?
We have loads of them still looking for buyers over here...so i predict the same fate to the D5's...which is a good thing for those wanting to buy one at a more reasonnable price.

Not interested at the moment. Shape is growing on me but the money is too strong and I would regret getting what would be an old engine that no-one will want in a few years come resale time.
