Where can I get my sliders re-coated (N.Yorks)? |
|
My prospeed sliders and compressor guard are starting to look a bit tatty after a couple of years of neglect. I'm thinking of getting them blasted then Raptor / Line-X coated but google is failing to find anyone in the Harrogate / Ripon area that provides this service.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
The other option is just to take them off, give them a good sanding & priming as necessary then raptor coat them myself. It looks like it can be a DIY job. Is this realistic or am I being over ambitious? MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Got mine Raptor'd in Hull if your willing to go a little further out? They've done a cracking job. Shame their a Jeep specialist!
Or if you'd prefer LineX I found this on Google when I was searching myself; http://linexvensonyork.co.uk
Have never used them myself so can't comment on how they are.

If it's from Prospeed, let them do it........ they did mine. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Thanks guys, some options to investigate. I like the prospeed idea but i thought they had the coating done elsewhere anyway? I suppose i can ask them. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
