Wrong IID tool

Good day to all,

Due to misunderstanding(stupidity) I got the wrong IID tool. Got a friend who visited in London to bring me one back to use on Discovery 3.
I now have the DA6400 (Range Rover) instead of the DA6405(Disco 3).
The tool is still in package unopened.
Question is: can it be "reprogrammed" for the D3 or should it be returned(difficult as friend is back in South Africa.)

All suggestions welcome.

As I cannot PM Duckworth parts as I have not reached the three post minimum. So I am posting this request here.

Duckworthparts you have a listing for IID tool Bluetooth on ebay, is it available to be purchased outside ebay?
