PDC Tone continuous

help please...After 9 years of Saab I decided to give in to my emotions and get a disco..

Got a 55 Black S 6 weeks ago and I love it..

Over the last couple of weeks the tone on the rear PDC is continuous when engaging reverse in wet or damp weather..Is this a common fault or is this part of being a disco owner..
Would appreciate some advise on what the fix is so I can give the boys at stratstone newport a clue on how to fix as under warranty.

Great site
Mr. Green

either dirty sensors or a common fualt is the wiring behind teh bumber rubs on metal and cuts threw it , get your stealer to check it and fix under warranty . i had mine done ,but they wont reroute the wiring , just renew , so i rerouted mine (makes for common sense) Thumbs Up

Several of us have had this - try cleaning the sensors (jet wash is ok if you sweep across them, but I would hold the jet on the sensor for prolonged periods) - that maybe all it is. If that fails - take it to the stealer to sort out under warranty.
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Go to have to report you to the Oxford Dictionary/Trade Descriptions, a handful of cases out of thousands of members on here hardly constitutes 'common' The End
