Tried to get on to my Met app this morning, and whilst I had good reception, it stated it had problem loading.
A banner then flashes up telling me the app was old and to download the new one.
Tried to do that but couldn't as I need ios8 !!
I run an old iphone4 which Apple have decided not to support with software updates.
So that means I'd need to fork out for a new iPhone!
Why can Apple not support their customers!
And why can the Met not keep the original app available for existing users that don't have current model phones!I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
Well done the Met Office. They've forced iPhone users to update what was a perfectly usable phone app and replaced it with the biggest load of rubbish ever.
Well done, new App now deleted because it's utterly hopeless.
Anybody recommend a decent weather app?
Yes
It's called "partly cloudy".... a graphical one that you do have to pay 1/6d for
It appears very accurate in the years I've used it..
Plus it will display data from all over the world.
There is a sister app called "the converted" that does all sorts of units conversions
The monetary page is updated every 3 hours or so..
Really worth a good look.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
