curtain airbag replacement , headliner removed pics FIXED

hi

got really bored today and was so nice i got the headliner out all ready for me to replace the drivers side curtain airbags

daft question, battery has been disconnected , after i've plugged in the new air bags , is it a simple question of just reconnecting the battery plse

know the iid will allow me to reset the main srs ecu to normal service condition

just wish to make sure if there's anything that needs to be done before the battery is reconnected

as always aplogises for asking a daft question

many thks Thumbs Up

ps, are there any pics anyone would like me to take while the headliner is out ,

for info

took me around 3 x hours to remove the headliner

took out the passenger side, seat and boot cubby box, made life a lot easier

noted the alarm sensor that sits in the headliner loose, so may be the reason why it occasionally sounded the alarm

one side has been broken, will just superglue that back onto the main plastic module ,then refit into the headliner

Looks like a task! Well done getting that much done. Why did you need to replace the airbags? Did I miss it in another post? Thumbs Up

thks

had enough for today after i got everything out

basically , unbeknown to me the landy had been knocked on the drivers side, setting the airbags off,

so threatened the garage with small claims court , they gave me money back off the purchase price

drivers side airbags were just cut out, causing the srs light to illuminate

got the new replacement airbags

will start replacing them in the week, had enough for today , my back was killing me

going to take plenty of pics of different things while the headlining is out

also thought in posting this it may help anyone else who may have to remove the headliner for one reason or another

thank u

made myself a cuppa this morning and went out to the landy

opened the boot and thought of blimey where do i start , lol

also got the passenger seat out as i'm changing that to electric , mainly for my mum, who is 87 and thought i can lower that along with the suspension to help her getting in and out

will be nerve racking when i plug in the new airbags

has given me a good opportunity with so many panels removed to give it a good hoover out
