so at least we now know that code can indicate the seat airbag

bless u and ur not wrong there, my heart was going half to the dozen as i watched the airbag light go out and waiting with baited breathed and praying it didn't come back on

now got to find out what circuit is which , as it can tell me what number relates to which airbag
slowly getting there ,

yep all done at long last
have u checked the normal places , i.e. the connector under the seat and have u plugged in an iid for any fault codes to indicate what they are , are the wires that go from the seat belts too tight , are they pulling on the connector, try moving the wires to see if the light comes on or off

many thks, has indeed been a long winded fix, but that's down to my inexperience
however have learnt a lot where things are , just refused to quit, bit like a dog with a bone
mot is due in july , so will be going in a month early
shame i couldn't get it in any earlier
pleased it's nearly all put back together and looking half decent again
also hope in future it may help others who have this kind of fault , or removing headliners etc
