Halogen to xenon convesion

I have a D4 XS with halogen headlights (non working fairylights) and have bought a set of identical looking xenons from an HSE with fairylights fitted - they fit in place and connectors look the same but they dont come on - any ideas from any bright sparks?
Thanks

The CCF will need editing so that they are enabled.
This can be done using an IID tool or similar - dealers won't do it for you but many independents will as will some members on here.
I hope that helps

Sorry to butt in, but can a nanocom evolution with D4 license activate things in CCF?

Thanks for the info - I visited a local car electrician who turned on the xenon setting and hey presto - way better lights at night I strongly recommend it. The LED's work fine - but for some reason dont stay on when the light switch is left turned to automatic - which I am sure they did at first (like the parking lights)

What other goodies can be activated by the Nanocom, I have one for my Defender and I've been trying to get the Mrs to buy the license for her D4 but she is taking some convincing, so apart from the fairy lights what else can I activate in an XS spec?
cheers Thumbs Up

If you have auto lights, i.e. they come on at a predetermined level of darkness, then having the switch in AUTO will activate the lights at that level, Led's as side lights and xenons as main lights, they are not DRLs, and will not act like that unless you change the wiring Thumbs Up

I have also upgraded my D4 halogens to the D4 facelift xenons and wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction of a guide as to what additional wiring is required to get the L.E.D's working as DRL's?
