Drivers heated seat wires.

Hi all I praying one of you clever lot can help me. What it is I've brought a second hand heated leather seat base drivers side as mine burnt a hole in right hand side burning my right thigh. Anyway the new one came good condition. However the new one had 2 plugs both with 2 wires each. But the old one I've just taken out had 1 plug with 2 wires & 1 plug with 4 wires. And none of plugs fit 🙁 can anyone advise if I can splice new wires onto old plugs some how?

Good thinking there's slight wear on left hand side bolster. So makes me think that could be the problem. Does the drivers seat have extra features? That's y more wires?

Do they do 2 styles of heated seat ie. One with just 1 heat setting & 1 with 2 heat settings like I've got????

Sorted. The jumper wire threw me. All I need to do is joint live , earth wires & occupancy wires then solder & heat shrink so there is only 4 wires but 1 jumper wire.

Well just spoke to my mate at dls & said that's a passenger side seat as one of you good fellas said. Apparently passenger seat has 2 wires for heater element & 2 wires for occupancy sensor. The drivers seat don't have occupancy sensors the small white sensor wire is the thermostat apparently. We'll just spoken to the 4x4 breaker & he has sent the passenger seat by mistake. So send it back & swap it. 😥😣😥
