D3-D4 Upgrade Question
Help needed please!
I'm planning to do my upgrade by this weekend- God's willing!
Meanwhile, I bought 2014 original bumper with all accessories complete.
Would this be a simple plug-in into my 2005 D3? Considering the fact that my D3 has only got Fog lights but no front sensors.

You really need to use the search as this has been covered over and over.
However, as you've asked, you need to remove the drivers side headlight and look for two connectors.

Those two connectors are one for the front fogs and the other is for the front PDC. Some D3's had all the looms installed but not activated. If you have both connectors ( you will definitely have the smaller one as you already have front fogs ) plug everything up. Front PDC will require activating with an appropriate diagnostic tool before it will work.
Good luck............and be prepared to drill out a few bumper fasteners as they will be solid. Mods:

Quite helpful !
Located the cables but the issue- is there's only one connector on the new bumper( Just one connector connects the Pdc's and the Fog lights) while mine D3 has the fog connector and a spare one for the sensors.
How do I reconcile?

Not sure as I doubt there's a two into one converter.
You might have to suss out which wire does what and wire up separately.
It should be easy enough to split out the fogs at least.
Try a search, somebody will have done this previously.

Colours on the wires at the plugs should match up. If not the wiring diagrams of the D4 and D3 will help work out what should go to what 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

i'm so sad i watched the whole way through, Oh fond childhood memories,
and i was only looking for pos solution to front fogs shorting out before i take them out
and clean them up, or replace them so on a closing note
