I am in need of some new tyres in the next couple of weeks - having read horror stories about the Generals wearing the lip of the alloy, have they addressed that issue with the AT3?

Hi all,
So AT3s look pretty good.
So choice between 255/55/19" or 255/55/20" ?
19" or 20" or no real difference........
Thanks

Looking at replacing my tyres soon. Will probably go for the AT3's to replace the Duratrac's I've got fitted now. Just a shame the rating of the Duratrac's has been downgraded. £130 each is the best I've found for the GG's so far. D4 MY15 SE TECH

Tyre pressures on AT3's. Just had 4 new fitted at £145 each and fitter said fronts should be 33psi and back 36psi. Done about 600 miles with them and think they are great. Lot of motorway very wet driving with no problems and have not noticed any increase in noise from the old Scorpions. Feels like they are solidly attached to the road. I would highly recommend them even with little experience so far.

I forgot to add that I also had a hunter alignment done after AT3s were fitted so may help explain smoothness.

Andy, in the same boat as you need some more Duratrac's but downgrading of the speed rating is making me look more at these GG AT3's in a bit more depth

Busted ordered 4 at £140 a pop. Looking forward to it! I had the old AT's on my RRS and always think that a 4x4 should have the boots to match.

Slightly concerned that the AT3 is marketed at 50% / 50% - will it be as good as AT2 that I currently have on ?
Same here...
How is the wet turn in?
I see the V spec is C rated wet weather and the H spec is rated E giving a 6m wet braking difference at 50mph.
Which spec did you guys go for? Last of the D4 HSE...

H. Seemed fine to me for the price. Also, didn't find any V specs in 20".
