Suspension Fault, codes read, advice please

I have a recurring suspension fault sometimes red sometimes amber.

I have read and cleared the faults several times and the faults that keep returning are as follows.

FAULT 2 OF 6
ECU: Instrument Pack
CODE:U0132
Lost communication with ride level ctrl module / Lost communication with suspension ctrl module A
(INTERMITTENT)

FAULT 4 OF 6
ECU: Ride Level
CODE:C1A13
Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery
(PERMANENT)

FAULT 5 OF 6
ECU: ABS system
CODE:U0132
Lost communication with ride level ctrl module / Lost communication with suspension ctrl module A
(PERMANENT)

The next two came up on the last occasion.

ECU: Instrument Pack
CODE:U0010
Medium speed CAN communication bus
(HISTORIC)

FAULT 6 OF 6
ECU: All Terrain Control
CODE:U0421
Invalid data received from ride level control module
(PENDING)

I'm thinking of replacing the compressor unless anyone has any other thoughts.

I have done a search on the forum but I haven't found this combination of faults.

Thanks very much.

Check the wiring to the exhaust valve on the compressor. Very common for breaking behind the wheelarch liner Thumbs Up

same faults

Staffiedrone

did you get this sorted I am having the same sort of faults

came on when driving home on Sunday.

I can clear the faults and it will be fine for about 5 miles then its back on.

checked the compressor all OK normal pressure, when faults clear it raises and falls as it should.

Hi Smithie

A new compressor sorted it. The wiring under the near side wheel arch was in good condition.

I was on the original Hitachi unit so it was replaced with a new AMK unit.

If you are still on your original compressor don't mess about just get a new AMK one it is highly likely this is the problem. If yours has already been replaced with an AMK unit you could look into servicing it. Also check the wiring in the near side wheel arch.

I did have a further problem in that the first new AMK compressor was faulty and the problems were worse after it was fitted! A new one was supplied under guarantee and it has been great since.

Regards

A new AMK compressor is about £425 and an hour or so labour to fit. The AMK compressor requires a software update to your car's ECU if it currently has a Hitachi fitted.

A number of companies are now also offering direct replacements for the Hitachi.

Mine's had a similar problem, the compressor has been replaced and nearly three weeks later it's still in the garage due to a loom issue as apparently some of the wires have now broken...

LR recommendation is to replace the loom Crying or Very sad

Smiths, sorry to jump on an old post but where exactly is this wiring under the wheel arch. I've had a look but can't find it?
