I'd agree..

We have both...
The FL2 is my daughters (she's in in Ozland currently)
The D4 is an awesome vehicle more capability....with a character & a heart
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

I had 3 years in my FL2 i6 - it was a nice car. D3 is a nice step up, more room for GSD and the kids get more space. I get a V8 Very Happy

Get the D4 and enjoy

I owned 3 x FL2's on the trot and 2 x D4's and there's only 3 of us along with one border collie.

The FL2 were great cars and we loved all of them but, for hauling 2 Siberian Huskies, it's the wrong car; the difference in space compared to the Disco puts it in another league and as a serious dog owner, you'll find a new use for a combination of the split tailgate (particularly the fold down bottom half) and air suspension Daily!

Do it! Thumbs Up

I'm a dog own and also tow a caravan as well as a keen green laner.

I've had a Range Rover Classic, a P38, Discovery 200tdi, 2x Discovery 300tdi, 3x Discovery TD5,
2 x D3 TDV6 and now a D4 SDV6 SE Tech.

The D4 is far superior to all of the rest as it has more room than any of it's predecessors except for the D3 but has so much power and torque on tap that it makes the D3 seem like a slug.

The Freelander 2 was not much use for us as to carry the dogs we had to fold the rear seats down and this left us with no space for our camping kit.

The D4 has more space in the boot with just the 3rd row seats flat and the 2nd row in place than the Freelander 2 has with it's rear seats folded down. This allows me to carry the dogs in a cage and still have plenty of space for camping gear.

Has she been in a D4? Apart from the already mentioned acres of space and the effortless performance, the commanding driving/passenger height will sway her. She will be able to rubberneck to her hearts content.

No she's not been in as yet. I'm sure once I buy one she will love it lol. The Freelander is now on trader so once that's gone it's shopping time lol. Personally myself I cannot wait now as I I have done some off roading in the Freelander but is going to be far more better in a D4.
I've already picked some out on the trader to view but until this one has sold I cannot do anything Sad
Best of it is the ones I've picked are all nearly sold lol oh well no rush.

Trade the wife in for the D4, the D4s running costs are far lower Laughing

If you need it for the dogs then D4 wins hands down, I've had 3 Fl2s and I'm now on my 4th Disco, the dogs will love the extra space.

Snap!!!!

Just upgraded from FR2 (FL2 here in SA) to a D4 V8 and have (wait, used to have) 2 Siberian huskies. One was old and had to be put down... no have a mongrel to keep the other company.

Simple answer - get the D4.

PS: i'll do a welcome thread as soon as my car is in my posession. i'm just having the hand controls fitted.
