No i did not hear any noise. I thought i pulled hard and it seemed that the wire did not come any further.
I guess i pulled the wire approx 10cm before it stopped

Did you use the scissor jack handles to create a 2 handed T-piece and pull it so hard that you thought you were trying to pull your elbows out of their sockets? When you are doing it, don't think -I'm trying to release the brakes, instead imagine you are trying to remove the cable from the car-in one go!

I have not been able to lift the car since i changed the tires because of my lift leaked hydraulic oil. So i do not know for certain that it is the parking brake. As the guy who helped me felt that also one of the front wheels was stuck.

If it is the parking brake that are stuck. Will the red P light always be on?
Because when i try the P-brake button i am able to switch on and of the red P light

Yes i can hear it wind in and out. However the the wheels are still stuck.
Could it be something else than the handbrake?

I did this when my handbrake failed, I thought I was breaking the thing, but eventually i pulled it as hard as I could and the EPB came free - so you REALLY need to pull as hard as possible, using the jack part as already mentioned Thumbs Up

Found the problem but have no clue how to fix.

It is the front wheels that are stuck. Not rear. The rear is turning great.
So do any of you have a suggestion on how to release the front brakes

Have you clearance between the wheels and the calipers?

Yes there is clearance. The strange thing now is when i took of all wheels front and back brakes are loose again.
Since the car now is om the air i thougt i should start it and try to drive it without the wheels. But of course now the battery is nearly flat and i need to charge it

Hi all
The problem is found and solved. This huge problem was that the 275/45/20 summertires i got when i bought was too big. There were clearance on all tires but full lock on front brakes. As soon as i out the winter tires on everything was good.

I would thank everyone of you for your effort and support trying to solve my problem

Thank you very much
Regards
Eirik

Don't see how that size were fouling the brakes as they are pretty standard sized wheels and tyres are they not but if it's working then great:thumbsup:
