New guy, with issues 😉

Hello all, After 13 years of more or less trouble free D2 td5 ownership I took the leap of faith and brought my D3 Xs 2 weeks ago, have to say i really like it at the moment Thumbs Up this week i have come across my first issue tho Rolling Eyes , knocking on a rotation at 30mph from then it turns in to a rumble with a knock from osf, (getting worse) would say speed related not engine related, have replaced wheel bearing (osf) which has made no difference, changed diff oils which look ok no excessive metal and clean enough not to cause concern, turning right will make it less noisey but still present, no differance made on or off throttle or in or out of gear, any known issues with driveshafts or extension tube bearing noises or failer? Have to say this is starting to get to me now Big Cry any ideas before I start chucking money at it....or sell it Laughing

Welcome along Thumbs Up I would say tyre issue too. Maybe a bulge or odd wear.

Hi stevo,
Not too far from me, im in woburn sands,

Ive had tyres on other vehicles go "funny"
Some made horrid vibes, some like lumpy driving, and none of them looked bad or visually damaged!

If the tyres are bad, swapping corners wont help. Its the rubber itself thats deteriorated,

Had chance to run the d3 up on a ramp today, looks like wheel bearing on the other side is making the knock and rumble by using chassie ears could pin it to that wheel, strange how noise can travel Confused Also no signs of play in the bearing, new one getting fitted tomorrow Thumbs Up (fingers crossed)
