Coolant leak top of gearbox

There's a coolant leak which seems to come from the top of the autobox near the engine.
What could cause this and does anybody has experience with this?
There's no room to work, my local Indy wants to drop the auto box.

Thanks all

i'm sure mirrors would be better.

the only thing I can think of in that area are obvious at the top of the engine bay

1) Heater pipes to cabin.
2) EGR cooler cross over pipe (on top of engine)

Are you sure it's coolant and not just water from the A/C evaporator drain as that will run down the side of the gearbox.

I'm sure it's coolant. Because I need to top up regularly. At least every day with short drives.
After some closer inspection it might be leaking from underneath the Y piece from the inlet system.
Dripping down the at the back of the engine.

I'm sure I've read something here about a part which can have tiny shreds in the housing..
Below the throttle body. Anybody knows which part this is?

Have a look at this thread that I posted a little while ago

I hope that yours is a similar problem to mine as it is a reasonably straightforward repair and not mega expensive. Thumbs Up
