On a 160 mile journey last night I had my vehicle shut down 7 times.
I know there are a lot of discussions about the same problem, driving along then bong lights on the dash and into limp mode power falls off rapidly. Stop restart and you are off again.
But 7 times in one journey gets a little wearing. Has this well known problem now been diagnosed to one specific component?
The only difference between this journey and my usual weekly 160 mile journey was the day before the wife used the vehicle so the seat and steering wheel were adjusted. The day before I had used the special programmes and low ratio to get out of a muddy field.
Fault codes recovered during one of the episodes:
P0087
P0101
U2023
U0401
U0100
U0416
B1B70
B1B85
B1B88
B1C31
B1D07
I guess some of these DTC's were existing and others were triggered by the fault but one of them must be the cause of all the others. Any ideas which one?

most worrying are the first two.
P0087, indicates either LPFP or HPFP. lots of posts in there for you to check.
P0101, MAF sensor??? again you need to look at it.
rest are most likely communication faults triggered by those two.
