Weeping Wing mirrors...

Washed the truck Sunday - all good. Love cleaning the brick - so nice and easy.

Pottered around doing other jobs on the drive, but kept having to come back every 5 mins to wipe away under the wing mirrors the endless weeping with a chamois!

Went on for hours! It was like the truck was playing a game with me!

Got the last laugh - went indoors without looking back when all my other jobs were done Very Happy

On a slightly different note - surprised how flat in colour the alloys are after a wash. Will have to remember to give them a waxy buff next time.

It was weeping because you were calling it a "truck" Whistle

As far as I can recall, I have had that problem with all the cars I have owned, including my Discovery.

Easy solution, resist the temptation to wash it. Mine gets washed once a year at the service, whether it needs it or not. Whistle

Given up washing mine too (it doesn't deserve it) and going to an independent now it doesn't get washed when broken or being serviced although that was always hit and miss with the dealer.
