Diagnostics recommendation

Hi All,

I am looking for some advice. I have just purchased a D3 and I am looking to buy some diagnostics software. Can anyone tell me what they think the best option is? The diagnostics will be for one vehicle only.

So far I have seen references to IID, Nano Evo, Faultmate and British Diagnostics SDD tool. Does anyone have a viewpoint on which offers the functionality, reliability and support versus value for money?

Any help much appreciated.

GAP IIDBT - bluetooth version

Fantastic bit of kit and the Customer service provided by the guys at GAP is 2nd to none.
Circa £400 but in my opinion the best out there for single use vehicles.

I have had Hawkeye and Nanocom for Disco II and Range Rover P38 but the IID is the most user friendly unit I have used.
I have contacted the guys at GAP a few times with problems and within hours they have sorted the problem, although based in Canada I haven't found that to be a problem
No hesitation in recommending the IID to you

No problem if your over the Cumbernauld way give me a shout and I can plug mine in to your motor and read the fault codes, can't change many settings as they are locked to one vehicle but would give you an idea of its capability
